This Weekend in History

Happy Memorial Day Weekend Movie Movie Fan Fans.

This weekend has been a big movie weekend for decades ever since 77 when ‘Star Wars’ came out. I want to go to there.

This weekend is MIB3. Let’s take a look at the memorial day weekends since I’ve been alive to find the one I want to go back to the most.

Year of my birth (1985) sounds awesome! I could be seeing ‘Brewster’s Millions’ and ‘Rambo: First Blood Part 2.’ Also the very.next weekend was ‘Fletch.’ This is when I should have been in my 20s.

1987 would have been fun. ‘Ernest Goes to Camp’ must be seen on the big screen to really be appreciated.

1989 ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’, Nuff said.

1992 would bring the disappointment of ‘Alien 3’ but also the glory of ‘Encino Man.’ Think that balances out nicely.

1996 you could have double feature ‘Mission Impossible’ and ‘Spy Hard.’

1999 wins for the year I want nothing to do with. ‘Star wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace’ and ‘Notting Hill.’ No. No. No.
