When One Becomes Two Becomes Three

I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I really do. I saw Two Towers twice the day it came out because I was that obsessed and excited. I own all of the extended editions, regular editions, and the BluRay versions of the films. I love the book series and have multiple copies of each novel, and of course one big, bound All-In-One collection. The Hobbit is arguably my favorite book of the four, the one that really excited me for the world that was being built. I’m ecstatic with anticipation for the movie adaptation of The Hobbit to come out, eagerly pinned to my seat watching for more news to come out about it. Fake Movie Friday: Human Nature

Has anyone here ever seen the Twilight Zone episode “The Howling Man”? No? Do you remember anything about The Fountain? No? Good, then this will all be new for you…

I submit for your approval, Human Nature

We open with a monologue from main character Michael, he sounds disgruntled and a little crazy. Something along the lines of, “I’ve been chasing him for years, decades, centuries. I’ve been chasing him as long as time itself has existed. Civilizations have grown and collapsed, and I’ve seen it all happen. Anyone I ever grew to care about has died, so I’ve learned to care about no person and only my mission. There is nothing more important to me than to rid this world of all of its impurities and capture the devil.”

Fake Movie Friday: Killer

I’m so tired. I completely forgot it was Friday. I wonder if I can actually make this happen…

Killer

John Mark wakes up in his own bed covered in blood. He rushes to the bathroom and cleans himself off and stares at himself in the mirror, while breathing heavily. We quickly learn this isn’t the first time this has happened. John responds the way he always does, he checks the news and sees if there has been any murders in the area, but there is nothing. He goes about starting the rest of his day, he makes himself a bowl of shredded mini wheats, a glass of blood orange juice and sits in silence.

Fake Movie Friday: Infinite Trouble

Ok it’s obvious I have no ideas anymore and this one is the worst one yet. It just kind of goes no where and is horribly offensive to Canadians. It is pretty short though. That being said, let’s get this OVER with.

Infinite Trouble (randomly generated title thanks to: http://phrasegenerator.com/actionmovies)

Gordon (played by Jay Baruchel) is a recluse, mathematician and Canadian who has just written an equation that can produce infinitely long prime numbers.

Happy Ashley?

They’re remaking Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. Ashley just IM’ed me asking why no one had written about it on MMP yet. She then made claims that we only write about super heroes. SO HERE YOU GO ASHLEY! Who do you think should play the ex child stars and recluses? No not you, I’m asking specifically Ashley. COME ON ASH! OUT WITH IT. Olsen twins or what?

Fake Movie Friday: The Ballad of Frankie Lee and Judas Priest

This would be relativly short, about 5 minutes, the length of the song The Ballad of Frankie Lee and Judas Priest by Bob Dylan. I don’t want to call it a music video (though it is), this was a project I wanted to film back when I was taking a film making class in Tennessee. But I neither had the talent, the number of friends required for this, the infinite amount of time or the resources. The song will be playing in the foreground the whole time, there will be no other spoken dialogue besides what is said in the song, there will be no extra sound effects of any kind. I’ll just be describing the shots along with dictating the lyrics to the song for this. If Bob Dylan sings a line of dialogue, the character would mouth the words at the same time. The “talking” scenes will resemble an old silent film. It will all take place in Nashville, circa 2002.

Fake Movie Friday: Death Hits

Here I am in Chicago, watching a 4 year old and 3 month old, dodging a thunder storm and of course writing my FMF! So here we go. This title probably has nothing to do with the movie.

Death Hits

Peter (played by Peter Smith) and Russ (played by Russ Stevens, or if he’s not available Hank Azaria) write for a semi-popular movie website with their friend Alex (played by Alex Kovios). Pete was the shining star of the website until Russ started to write more articles, receiving the most comments of any one, making Pete extremely jealous. Blinded by rage and alcohol Pete comes up with a plan to kill Russ. He writes it all out, then realizes how dumb he is being, laughs about it and goes to sleep.
