I couldn’t think of a title, so I asked our friend Lisa for a title suggestion. She started naming stuff that was on her desk and this stood out, because it made me think of snakes. So it looks like we’re headed deep into the rainforest of Suriname! Here we go!

There No Turning Black
Cedwick is a good kid. He’s smart, helps out around the house, does all of his school work, just a damn good kid. Trouble is he is the only one. The only white mage living in a town full of black mages’. His step parents have tried to turn him evil but there is nothing they can do to help. Their black magic spells don’t work on him, unlike all other white mages, so they decided they had to take him in.

I just got home from work and a rehearsal dinner. I really have no idea what to write about, so this is all I could come up with. This may or may not be based on the Rudolph Wurlitzer novel Nog. Let’s see if I can finish this before midnight.

Dave drives his dirty white van down an abandoned highway in the middle of the desert. He pulls up to a commune on the side of the road. People start to leave their tents and come out to greet the truck. The van has the words, “Say Hi” written on one side and “Fear the Creature Inside” on the other. The leader of the commune, Lockee, comes up and bows to Dave. The rest of the people soon follow. Dave is given a package and then heads back on the road.
This was originally titled “The Lawless Possession of a Bachelorette”, then it was “The Bachelorette’s Lawless Possession” but I’m deciding to break the trend this week. Welcome back for another episode of the Movie Movie Podcast! Our first podcast of September and it’s a doozy! Wow today was busy at work, but here I am on the train home and it’s time for another Fake Movie Friday! This weeks title was suggested to me by Lisa last night at the Manhattan College Alumni Happy Two Hours. I decided this needs to be a weird experimental sort of film, mostly scenes with very little connecting it all…or is there??

I didn’t know what to write, so I asked resident artist Colm “www.colmics.com” Ryan for a suggestion. He eventually gave me this title. This is easily my worst yet, because I lost all will to write it about 1 paragraph in. There was going to be a whole subplot about an evil scientist trying to merge the cartoon world and real world, then I realized I did the whole cartoon/real world thing two weeks ago. Oh well, enjoy:
